This course aims at training students to write well-organized and meaningful essays about certain themes or topics of interest. Stress will be laid on writing topic sentences, supporting ideas, note-taking, editing, coherence, gathering information, and making inferences. In order to promote critical thinking skills, students are expected to write narrative, descriptive, expository and argumentative essays.
