Dr. Md. Ali Mujtaba, working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia.  He was Head of the Pharmaceutics department in the Faculty of Pharmacy, Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia. He did his Master's and Ph.D in Pharmaceutics from Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India. He has more than 9 years of teaching experience in Northern Border University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and a total of more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research in different accredited academic institutions.  He has also been involved in different academic and administrative work at college and University levels. He taught the subjects: Introduction to Pharmacy; Pharmaceutical Calculation; Physical Pharmacy; Dosage form-I; Dosage form-II; Drug Delivery system-I; Drug Delivery system-II; Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics.

He has published more than 60 research papers in international journals of repute with high impact factor (ISI indexes, Scopus indexed) journals, 3 book chapters with international publishers, and 3 patents. He has completed twelve research projects granted by the Deanship of Scientific Research, Northern Border University, KSA. His research interests include the application of biomaterials in drug delivery and design and characterization of polymeric nanoparticulate/microparticulate systems, development of extended-release dosage forms, improvement of aqueous solubility, enhancement of oral bioavailability of pharmaceuticals and pharmacokinetics in the animal model.  Moreover, He has attended several conferences and seminars at national and international levels. He is a member of different scientific bodies and a reviewer of journals at national and international levels. He has supervised several undergraduate students for their final graduation projects.
