This course emphasizes the molecular mechanisms that govern genetic information and its expression in microorganisms. It covers the processes of DNA replication, repair, and transcription, along with protein synthesis and the regulation of gene expression in different organisms. Students will also be introduced to essential molecular biology techniques used in microbiological research, enabling them to understand and apply modern methods for studying and manipulating microbial genes at the molecular level.
