As a faculty member in the College of Education at Northern Border University, my academic journey has been marked by a pursuit of excellence in the field of education. I hold a Master's degree from St. Thomas University in the United States, Minnesota, and I completed my doctoral studies under the guidance of Professor Phyllis Jones at the University of South Florida, USA
My academic focus predominantly centers on Autism Spectrum Disorder, Evidence-Based Practices, and Behavior Disorders. During my doctoral studies, I had the privilege of serving as a research assistant, collaborating with multiple distinguished professors who offered diverse perspectives and ideas. This experience provided me with a profound insight into the world of research and the importance of embracing differing viewpoints
An analogy I often contemplate is that of five researchers observing an uncolored picture of a tree in a room, each equipped with glasses that display the tree in a different color. Although each researcher perceives the same tree, their unique lenses impart distinct hues to their view. This analogy underscores the philosophical understanding that multiple truths can coexist, each valid within its context, even when perspectives differ
This philosophical insight has profoundly influenced my approach to research, guiding my selection of methodologies and research methods. By recognizing and embracing diverse viewpoints, I aim to minimize contradictions and enhance the quality of interpretation and analysis in my research endeavors
