By the end of this course, the student should be able to;

  1. Apply Navier Stokes  equations in fluid flow problems (3a,3e)
  2. Explain the potential flow, circulation, and/or rotational flow (3a)
  3. Identify boundary layer concept for the flow through                     flat plate (3a,3e)
  4. Analyze the flow of compressible fluids and/or shock waves (3a, 3e)
  5. Determine energy loss and the flow rates associated with different flow networks in pipes (3a,3e)
  6. Identify hydraulic machines performance and pump connection system (3a,3e)

Perform the fluid mechanics experiments (3b)
