Shouki A. Ebad is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science at Northern Border University (NBU) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), KSA. Shouki has been teaching undergraduate courses in the areas of software engineering, information systems design & analysis, object-oriented programming, and graduation projects. Prior to joining NBU, he worked as a Lecturer at King Faisal University and KFUPM in KSA. He also held several positions including Research Assistant, Head of Information Systems Department, Vice Dean, and Secretary General of the Scientific Council at NBU. Shouki is a Sun/Oracle certified programmer for the Java 2 platform. He also served as an Assistant Dean for Technical Affairs at IT Deanship at NBU for years. He has several years of industrial experience in (a) supervision and managing tens of ICT projects, and (2) consulting services to major industrial organizations. His current research interests include software engineering, systems/software security, and software project management. He published a number of technical papers in refereed journals and conferences in these areas. Shouki has been working as a reviewer for several Web of Science-indexed journals, and a PC member at some conferences and workshops.
