Dr Sami Alshammari
Dr. Sami Alshammari is an Assistant Professor specializing in Telecommunication and Computer Networking. He earned his Ph.D. in Telecommunication and Computer Networking, where his research focused on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), algorithms & complexity theory, and their applications in smart cities. He also holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer networks.
During his doctoral studies in the United States, Dr. Alshammari worked as an instructor, gaining valuable teaching experience alongside his research. He also has professional experience in the financial industry, where he leveraged his technical expertise to support User Acceptance Testing phases by conducting detailed unit examinations and ensuring system integrity.
Dr. Alshammari has published research papers in the fields of IoT, cybersecurity, and the application of machine learning in the medical domain. His work integrates emerging technologies to address real-world challenges in urban infrastructure, healthcare, and secure communication systems. His current research interests include IoT , smart city data integration, CyberSecurity, algorithms & complexity theory, and the use of AI to enhance healthcare diagnostics and services.
