Dr Sajeena Gayathrri
Dr. Sajeena Gayathrri is an accomplished educator and scholar with over twenty-seven years of experience in English language and literature. She holds advanced degrees including an M.Phil. and Ph.D. in English from the University of Madras, and her areas of academic interest encompass Comparative Literature, Indian Writing in English, Phonetics, and Grammar.
Dr. Gayathrri has taught extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, delivering courses in English Literature, Grammar, and Communication Skills, as well as Technical English for engineering students. She currently serves at Northern Border University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where she teaches Technical English, Business English, English Literature and the four core language skills—Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.
Throughout her career, she has actively contributed to academic and administrative responsibilities, serving as Department Coordinator, Academic Supervisor, and Editorial Board Member of a bi-annual online literary journal. She has also presented research papers at national and international conferences and has published numerous scholarly articles in reputed journals on themes related to language, identity, and literature.
A committed and dynamic educator, Dr. Gayathrri is known for her interactive teaching style, her dedication to student development, and her passion for language as a bridge between cultures. Fluent in multiple languages, she continues to inspire learners and colleagues alike through her pursuit of academic excellence and her belief in the transformative power of literature.
