I am Dr. Marwa Belgacem, an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Northern Border University, Faculty of Science. I hold a doctorate in Computer Science from the University of Manouba, Tunisia, with research expertise spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Arabic Optical Character Recognition (OCR). My doctoral thesis and master's research focused on Arabic OCR, a topic where I made significant contributions.
I graduated at the top of my class in my licentiate degree in Computer Science, a milestone that reflects my passion for academic excellence and innovative research. I supervised master's research projects in Artificial Intelligence in Tunisia, emphasizing cutting-edge approaches to solving real-world problems.
Currently, my research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence in the Internet of Things (IoT), where I strive to bridge the gap between AI advancements and practical implementations to transform industries and improve daily life.
As an educator and researcher, I am committed to fostering a dynamic learning environment and contributing to the scientific community through impactful research.
