Hanaa A Alshammari
Assistant Professor of Nuclear Physics
Northern Border University – Arar, Saudi Arabia
Dr. Hanaa Alshammari is an Assistant Professor of Nuclear Physics at Northern Border University. She earned her PhD in Nuclear Physics from the Australian National University (ANU), where she specialized in fast-timing lifetime measurements using LaBr₃ detectors to investigate nuclear shape transitions in platinum isotopes. She also holds an M.S. in Physics from Wright State University (USA) and a B.S. in Physics from Northern Border University.
Her research focuses on nuclear structure, shape coexistence, and collectivity in transitional nuclei. Dr. Alshammari has published in international journals such as Physics Letters B and Applied Radiation and Isotopes, and has presented her work at major conferences including the Nuclear Structure Conference (Argonne National Laboratory, USA) and the Australian Institute of Physics Conference.
