Course Main Objective(s) By the end of this course, the student will be able to deal with
curves in parametric form and change from Cartesian coordinates to polar coordinates and vice
versa. Sketch these curves, evaluate arc length and areas in polar coordinates. Gain an intuitive
understanding of multivariable functions and perform partial differentiations. Evaluate integrals
of functions over plane regions and change the coordinates in multiple integrals.
