The principle of the clinical training in the lab is to make the trainee acquainted with daily workflow, the whole cycle starting with the sample receiving and ending with the result release. The Hematology Lab in particular will introduce the student to the application of laboratory techniques in the investigation of abnormalities of the hemopoietic and hemostatic systems such as anemia, leukemias, bleeding, and thrombotic disorders.
