Prof. Manal S Fawzy is a supervisor of Biochemistry department (female section). She participates in several units and committees at the Faculty and University levels. She leads an interdisciplinary research team worked in the Arab region with local and international collaborations. Her team is interested in "Molecular Biology", "Bioinformatics analysis", and "Cancer Research" to face the new challenges in this region according to the availability of the resources, keeping the higher standards of quality in published data, promote outstanding outcomes, and execute valuable and meaningful contribution in scientific research publication. The team aims to reach evidence in many disease-related themes by applying basic bioinformatic tools to unravel raised concerns related to the genetic/epigenetic signatures of different disorders and to identify putative diagnostic and/or prognostic biomarkers that contribute to a deep understanding of the diseases and the development into clinical applications
