The Department of Maternal and Child Health Nursing is among the five scientific departments of the College of Nursing, Northern Border University, which was established in 1430 and includes elite qualified scientific cadres responsible for teaching theoretical and practical courses and field training for all male and female students. The Department of Maternal and Child Health Nursing aspires to raise the level of knowledge, professional nursing experience, and the skills of male and female students of the College of Nursing in caring for women and children by using modern technology to achieve academic excellence, apply scientific research, serve the community, and stay on par with the global community. The department is also committed to teaching courses on development through life stages, principles of nursing education, genetics in nursing, maternity nursing, pediatric nursing, and evidence-based research in nursing. It is also committed to providing clinical training for male and female students in skills laboratories and then in hospitals and various health centers.
