1. Course DescriptionThis course is dedicated mainly to the benign and malignant WBCs disorders (including acute and chronic leukemia, etc..), the mechanism involved in the coagulation and hemostasis including coagulation factors, the methods of activation, fibrinolytic system, and platelets structure & function. The later parts concentrate on the coagulation and bleeding disorders and their laboratory diagnostic tests. |

2. Course Main ObjectiveThis course introduces the students to leukocyte disorders; their etiology, clinical findings, and laboratory diagnosis, the mechanisms involved in the hemostasis, coagulation and bleeding disorders and their laboratory diagnostic tests. |
