My name is Dr. Hanaa Bayomy. I’m an assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine, Northern Border University in KSA.

I received my PhD in 2012 from the Faculty of Medical and Human Sciences, the University of Manchester, Manchester, UK. I received the M.Sc. of Public Health (Preventive and Social Medicine) in 2006; and B.Sc. of Medicine and Surgery in 1998, both from Benha Faculty of Medicine, Benha University in Egypt.

I have accumulated more than twenty years of academic experiences since I have been staffed upon graduation at the Public Health and Community Medicine Department at Benha Faculty of Medicine, including five years as an assistant professor of public health since July 2012 till Sep. 2017 and about one and half year as an associate professor since Sep. 2017 till June 2018 in the Faculty of Medicine, Benha University. Since June 2018 I have been assistant professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Northern Border University, KSA.  Besides, I have been active in research in the areas of Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics.

My research interests include statistical modeling of exposures for epidemiology, communicable and non-communicable diseases, maternal and child health, geriatric health and youth  health. I have a good experience in statistical analysis using STATA and SPSS.

    I have many research papers and scientific publications in Egyptian and international refereed journals in various disciplines, including infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, occupational health, and modern methods of medical education.

 I participated in many international conferences with scientific papers in Egypt and England.

.I supervised nine MSc and PhD dissertations - Benha University - in the fields of public health and dermatology.

 Further, I have been funded by the Benha University as the Principal Investigator on a research project to study viral hepatitis risk factors in Egypt, in 2014-2018. I’m a

reviewer and editorial board member for several Egyptian and international journals such as Journal of Environmental and Public Health and Electronic Journal of General Medicine.

• I was the supervisor of the Health Awareness Campaign titled "My Skin Mirror My Health" under the auspices of the Northern Border University, Arar, Saudi Arabia.
