Dr. Lafi Aied Alenezi is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department at Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from University of Newcastle. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Northern Border University and a Master’s degree in Information Systems from Middle Tennessee State University (USA)

Dr. Alenezi’s research interests span Human–Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, technology acceptance, digital health, and gerontechnology, with a particular emphasis on understanding how elderly users interact with and adopt emerging healthcare technologies, including wearable devices. His research adopts a mixed-methods approach grounded in established Information Systems theories such as TAM and UTAUT. In addition to his research, Dr. Alenezi is actively involved in undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, and academic quality assurance within the field of Computer Science
