Dr. Waad Aldandani is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Northern Border University, Saudi Arabia. She earned her Ph.D. in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Applications from Virginia Tech, USA (2024), and a Master of Science in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, TX, USA.

Her research focuses on leveraging machine learning and large language models (LLMs) to automate complex software engineering tasks. She developed RPredictor, a machine learning-based tool that predicts developers’ resolutions for merge conflicts, streamlining code integration and reducing manual effort.

Dr. Aldandani actively contributes to international research communities and currently serves on the Technical Program Committee of the LLANMER Workshop (FSE 2025). Her broader research interests include cloud-based AI solutions, software security, and programming languages.
