Dr. Hammadi Khmissi is currently an Assistant Professor at Northern Border University. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Monastir, Tunisia, where he specialized in semiconducting nanostructures. Prior to that, he obtained a Master’s degree in Nanomaterials from the same university. Dr. Khmissi’s research focuses on the optical properties of nanomaterials and transition metal oxides. He has extensive experience in the preparation of nanostructures—including nanowires and quantum dots—as well as thin films fabricated using molecular beam epitaxy and spray pyrolysis techniques. His current research interests include the optimization of antireflective coatings for solar cells and the enhancement of the optical performance of transition metal oxides.
