| The course explain the significance of medicinal plants and other valuable natural sources in pharmacy and medicine; along with cultivation, collection, drying and preservation of herbal drugs. Define the identification methods of plant materials used as herbal drugsin cluding macroscopical, organoleptic and microscopical characters as well as chemical tests. Justify the uses of herbal drugs, assess the adverse effects , and characterisation of genuine, adulterants and allied herbal drugs. |
