The research project focuses on critical clinical studies, including clinical trials and observational studies such as cross-sectional surveys, case-control studies, cohort studies, and case series. Relevant biostatistical methods, both descriptive and inferential, will be utilized to analyze the collected data. The goal is to familiarize interns with the process of conducting research. Initially, the intern will review the literature and, with guidance from the academic supervisor, prepare a research proposal that includes the research question and protocol. The raw data will then undergo statistical processing, and the intern will write a dissertation using scientifically sound language and following a standard format.
