Dr Tarek Ibrahim Alanazi
Dr. Tarek Ibrahim Alanazi is a faculty member in the College of Science, Department of Physics, since 2013. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Physics from Northern Border University in 2011, followed by a Master's degree in Physics from The University of Akron in the United States in 2016. He also earned his Ph.D. in Solid-State Physics (Third Generation Solar Energy) from The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom in 2021.
In 2022, he was appointed to work in the Program Accreditation Unit at the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation. In 2023, he was appointed as the Head of the Physics Department and Program Accreditation Advisor at the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation. He currently serves as Vice Dean of the College of Science for Development and Community Partnerships, a position he has held since 2023.
